“We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Boat.”

    What do you say about the player that can do it all.  Still playing well into his 60’s, Mark Mauceri continues to escape each Wednesday from the ‘John Lithgow home for the Neurotic’.  A wiley player, Mauceri would constantly lure in opposing outfielders with his herky Jerky, uncoordinated warm up swing.  Unsuspecting outfielders would move inside the co-ed line, only to be burned by the awesome power of Mauceri.  Chuckling as he rounded the bases, as we did also, Mauceri’s grace flowed.  His Grace and style is far below par, but he makes up for that with something else.  One day we hope to see what that is. 

    Former G.M., and now, back up catcher, Mark Mauceri returns after 4 surgeries, three kids, and one pitching screen.
