For several years, Greg Bond wore a trail from Center field to Shortstop and back again. But he just could not find a home. Ex GM, Mark Mauceri found utility in Bond in bonds Transcendence, and used him accordingly. Having great hands and a superior arm, Bond can play both positions with equal greatness. However, Bond lost most of his quick footing due to the rare disease called Tolio. Tolio is Polio of the Toe which inhibits a Shortstop from mentally understanding the position.
Greg Bond now finds a home in the outfield, and does so with a “Rocket-Like” arm. Reminiscent of the great Nuke LaLoosh, Bond has been known to show off that cannon of an arm by unleashing throws that climb backstops. Like a pinball machine…never knowing exactly where the ball will end up, keeps our game exciting and fun.
Note: Greg Bond and James Bond are not related.
